Packers and movers usually offer insurance facilities to their clients to ensure their home appliances, furniture, household goods, and other valuable items against any damage while the items are in transit.

This assurance is between the packing and moving company that is shifting items and the customer. As far as the customers are concerned, insurance companies are not involved. However, to protect customers’ assets, there is a special type of insurance referred to as transit insurance. Transit Insurance facility is provided by general insurance companies and the safety net costs nearly half of the entire inclusive insurance.
